Come celebrate the newest voices in Latino cinema with El Museo’s new film series, Noches de Cine. Through critically recognized films from the diaspora, Latin America, and the Caribbean, the series encourages viewers to explore gripping tales that encourage discussion, introspection, and cross-cultural interaction. For fellowship and conversation, stay after the screening. Sebastián Rea is the curator. The Summer of Three Carlitos Ruiz-Ruiz, director (2026). In the purest sense, Summer of Three is a family endeavor. Marcel Ruiz (One Day at a Time), who co-wrote the movie, was cast by director Carlitos Ruiz-Ruiz. This coming-of-age tale, which was shot on location in Manatí and Vega Baja and features Boricua indie music and reggaetón throughout, presents a genuine picture of family, identity, and belonging.
