It Takes a Village: Open Garden Art Studio

Join us for art activations centered around sustainability in a Harlem community art garden. All ages are welcome to attend for free! Come enjoy a day of free outdoor art activities, such as creating clay coasters, pouring paint, creating prints, and more! You are cordially invited to a day of art inspired by sustainability at the Los Amigos Community Garden by the Unframed Arts Collective in collaboration with the New York Restoration Project. Interactive art activations with a focus on community development will be featured at this free, family-friendly event. All activations at this event are free, although donations are greatly appreciated. UAC is dedicated to offering weekly courses that primarily assist people who are facing housing instability because it is a grassroots organization. We think that everyone has the right to self-expression and community, in addition to using art as a therapeutic tool. There are just a few seats available for the two expertly taught art workshops (see the schedule of events below); please RSVP to guarantee your place! On September 19, when art will be in full bloom, come celebrate the power of creativity!
