Free Movie Night at Bryant Park: “Good Morning, Vietnam”

Looking for a free way to enjoy a summer evening in New York City? Bryant Park Movie Nights offers New Yorkers and visitors the chance to enjoy classic films on the big screen in the heart of Manhattan.

On Monday, July 20, 2026, Bryant Park will host a free outdoor screening of “Good Morning, Vietnam”. The comedy-drama follows a radio DJ assigned to the U.S. Armed Forces Radio Service in Vietnam whose unconventional personality and on-air humor make him popular with the troops while creating tension with his superiors.

The lawn opens at 5:00 p.m., giving guests time to find a spot and enjoy food and drinks before the movie begins at 8:00 p.m. Admission is free, and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you can’t make this screening, don’t worry. There will be more Movie Nights throughout the summer.

Guests can bring a blanket, grab a spot on the lawn, and enjoy an evening outdoors with friends, family, or a date. Food and beverages are available for purchase from vendors surrounding Bryant Park, but guests can also bring their own picnic.
