D37 Back to School Day
Come enjoy a free outdoor movie night beneath the stars, free backpacks, music, family activities, community resources, and refreshments. Come celebrate our yearly Back to School Day & Movie Night with Council Member Sandy Nurse and the District 37 crew! We are gathering the community for an evening of enjoyment, resources, entertainment, and celebration for children and families as we prepare for a new school year.Families can take pleasure in:
- Giveaways of free backpacks (while supplies last)
- Live entertainment and music
- Activities that are suitable for families
- Information and resources from the community• Free refreshments
- Surprises and freebies all night long
Stay tuned for a free outdoor movie night with complimentary popcorn for visitors while supplies last after the Back to School Day celebrations are over.
We urge you to participate in one of District 37’s favorite yearly customs, whether you’re returning to school, helping a student, or just seeking for a fun evening with neighbors. Important Information Admission is free. Registration is encouraged. Backpacks and giveaways are available while supplies last. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Event activities begin at 5:00 PM.
