Culture & Connection: Educator Gathering @ MoCADA

Come to the last stop of Cool Culture’s Listening Tour with us. Teachers, school administrators, and family engagement professionals who value the arts, culture, and community will share their knowledge, pose questions, and develop a strategy for group action at this unique event. Families with kids and parents/caregivers are also welcome! This event, which will take place at MoCADA, an arts organization committed to honoring the cultural diversity of the African diaspora via art, education, and social justice, will unite educators to consider what we have learned from families during the Listening Tour and consider future directions. Families have shared tales, aspirations, difficulties, and hopes over the last few months. We now invite educators to participate in the discussion.There will be lunch available. There will be chances to network with coworkers, share ideas, and form bonds with people who are dedicated to cultural access, family leadership, and educational equity throughout the afternoon.
