Community Work Day on the Wyckoff Urban Farm

A volunteer day is coming up, so get your hands filthy and roll up your sleeves! Visit the Wyckoff Urban Farm on the fourth Saturday of each month from Now to October between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to assist our farm workers in maintaining our land and taking part in unique initiatives. Get hands-on with farm projects, learn about what we’re farming, and get to know our farmers! Although tickets are not necessary to attend, it is always beneficial to RSVP so that projects can be planned appropriately.IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Families (aged 10 and up) are welcome to attend. Families and individuals with children 10 years of age and older are welcome, but they must be accompanied by an adult the entire time. Get ready for the mess! To protect your feet, wear close-toed shoes and clothing that you don’t mind getting messy in. Arrive Ready: We will supply all the equipment and safety gear you need for your projects, but it’s always a good idea to bring a hat, long sleeves, sunscreen, and bug repellent.Facilities: On-site restrooms and a water fountain are available. We advise packing a reusable water bottle and some snacks.

Weather: Rain or shine, Community Work Days take place. We will update this site and notify people on the RSVP list to cancel if severe weather is anticipated. Volunteer Groups: Individuals, families, and small groups of five or less people are welcome to participate in this event.
