Cinema with a Cause: “True North”

Watch the documentary “True North” at CLSJ to hear the voices of Black Montrealers rising through historical archives in the 1960s. Cinema With A Cause is a monthly series of thought-provoking film screenings that are followed by facilitated conversations about social justice issues and their effects on the community. The stories and legacy of Black students and activists in Montreal in the 1960s are highlighted in this documentary. This event is free. Invite your loved ones, friends, and other activists; each person needs to register independently.
