Movies in the Park: BEASTS OF THE SOUTHERN WILD

Visit Tompkins Square Park for a free screening of the Academy Award-nominated BEASTS OF THE SOUTHERN WILD! (Date of Rain: August 20) hosted in collaboration with Harvey Epstein, a member of the City Council, and Searchlight Pictures. Come watch the Academy Award-nominated movie Beasts of the Southern Wild for free at the Tompkins Square Park Bandshell. There are just a few seats available, so arrive early and bring a blanket. The movie starts at eight. Free refreshments and surprises from our LESFF sponsors will be provided at every event. The Loisida Center, Good Old Lower East Side (GOLES), and the East Village Community Coalition provide community help.
