BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! Honors Harry Belafonte with Common and Special Guests

Spend an evening celebrating music, activism, and community as Common takes the stage at BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! for a special event honoring the social justice legacy of Harry Belafonte. Presented in partnership with The Action Lab, the free concert recognizes Belafonte’s lifelong commitment to using art as a force for social change. Admission is free, and RSVP is encouraged.

Doors open at 6:00 p.m., with the program beginning at 7:00 p.m. Held at the Lena Horne Bandshell in Prospect Park, the event will feature Common alongside special guests for an evening that blends live performance with a celebration of Belafonte’s enduring impact on culture, activism, and community leadership. RSVPs help guests receive event updates and enter for a chance to win VIP tent passes, but entry remains first come, first served.
